The Lolek Center is a vibrant apostolate dedicated to forming lifelong missionary disciples of Jesus Christ. Inspired by St. John Paul II, we offer one-on-one discipleship coaching, spiritual direction, small group cohorts, retreats, and community events that help people encounter Christ and live the Gospel with joy.
Position Summary
We are seeking a warm, organized, and mission-driven Lolek Center Coordinator who excels at building relationships and managing daily operations. This person will play a key role in overseeing programming, volunteers, and the overall smooth functioning of the Center. Strong relational skills are essential, as the role involves frequent personal interactions with volunteers, participants, donors, and community partners.
Typical Schedule: Monday–Thursday during business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), with some evening availability required for programs and events. Friday afternoons through Sunday are typically off.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations, programming, volunteers, and general efforts of The Lolek Center.
Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, program participants, and community partners.
Make phone calls to set up appointments, confirm volunteer times, and follow up with businesses on sponsorship invitations.
Manage volunteers: recruit, schedule, train, and support them effectively.
Perform general office and administrative duties, including working in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), managing data in our CRM, drafting and sending emails, and responding to inquiries.
Assist the Executive Director with special projects and other duties as needed to advance the mission.
Qualifications
Strong alignment with the Catholic faith and a heart for evangelization and discipleship.
Excellent relational and interpersonal skills — warm, personable, and able to connect genuinely with a wide variety of people.
Comfortable and effective making phone calls (scheduling, follow-ups, volunteer coordination, donor/sponsor outreach).
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficient in Google Workspace, email management, and basic CRM/database systems.
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Previous experience in ministry, nonprofit, volunteer coordination, or office administration is preferred.
Preferred / Bonus Skills
Experience designing graphics, promotional materials, flyers, or social media content (Canva or similar).
Basic website management or content updating skills.
Familiarity with Catholic ministry models and community-building work.
